My Lord,
I had intended to have addressed Your Lordship by this opportunity regarding the accompanying copy of letter from the Land Officer with detailed account of Disbursements and probable Estimates, but business of various kinds that could not be delayed has flowed in too fast that it is totally out of my power to fulfil my intention, as the "Sesostres" steamer starts for Bombay at day break to-morrow morning.
I therefore merely now forward these documents, that Your Lordship may from them form some idea of the past and contemplated Expenses of this Colony but it is proper I should
